I had a presentation this morning, and last night my brain decided that it would be really funny if it doesn't let me sleep until 3 am. And then when I actually fell asleep, my alarm rang in what seemed like less than 10 minutes. It was 9 am and, to my horror, I realized I had just half an hour before the presentation started!
Quickly showered and donned my new purple shirt (with ruffles!) and grey pencil skirt. Feeling pretty satisfied with my clothes, tied up my hair in a pony and just managed to make it in time. But, in the rush I totally failed to notice that it was a cloudy day. Though the thin fabric of my blouse felt amazing against my skin, it didn't help much when I was out in the chilly breeze! If I had any clue about it before, I would have followed what this lady over here has done!
Okay, I have to admit I am sold out to this dress shirt with sash. And it has cute little hearts all over them! The sheerness of the blouse is very well balanced by pairing it with a simple black skirt and opaque black tights. If you've noticed, the laced-up peep-toes have done a great job in adding toughness to this oh-so-girly ensemble. All in all, lovely way to enjoy a cloudy-breezy day at work!
Another fun way would be to change the color of the skirt and keep the rest of the outfit black... wait, have we talked about it before?
