Shades of the Grey

I was just sitting and wondering what tomorrow's outfit is going to be like. Honestly, all I want is to relax, considering I have submitted a 54-pages technical report this afternoon (yeah, been working on it all weekend). I am in no mood to wear flamboyant colors or chunky accessories. Heels are out of question, I need something comfortable. Fine I am not in an outgoing mood, but I don't want to look boring either!

So I looked into my own fashion diary, and I found this. Simple yet stylish, demure but not dull!

I find this outfit really cute! To think of it, this seems quite easy to put together. A white dress, a pair of black platform boots and a cozy grey cardigan, and there you have an adorable outfit. Trust me, the grey socks with the ankle boots makes this look even cuter. To avoid looking plain, she has balanced it by wearing a pretty bib necklace, which adds style to this ensemble while matching the tone perfectly well.

What a brilliant way to bridge the stark black and white contrast! Isn't it?
