All about the Colors

Have you noticed people wearing those bright contrasting colors on the streets? I am sure some of us have been too reluctant to try that in the fear of getting it wrong. And those who have managed to not come out as clownish have mastered the art of color blocking - one of the latest trends in fashion for 2012!

Trust me, for a while even I was intrigued by the mystery behind this whole color blocking thing. As in, who decides what's right and what's wrong? How do you know what goes and what doesn't! And guess what I found? The color-blocking theory! Yes, I have it all right here - the dos and don'ts of color blocking.

Basically, you just have to make an equilateral triangle in this wheel, pick out any two colors at the vertices, and they will always go together! Isn't this amazing? Now let's have a look at some of its applications.

If the first red and yellow combination is too bright for your skin tone, try the second one. Add a bright green hand bag to the low-key orange dress and you are all set. Also, you can wear color-blocked shoes and pass off as a color-blocking expert without making any effort.

Start off with two colors first and we'll talk more about it in future posts
